Au Pied de Fouet (45, rue de Babylone)

Recommended by a Taiwanese book about Paris, we went to this friendly restaurant near le Bon Marché. We arrived at 4pm, while the owner said "C'est Fermé" It's closed, until 7pm! If we come back, he will get me us a drink! That's the deal, we came back, and immediately he served us a rose wine.

The famous dish here is Confit de Canard Maison (Homemade preserved duck). The skin is so crispy while the meat is soft and tender. It tastes so good. It costs you only 11 bucks for the main dish. Other dishes are nice as well, though their desserts are just so-so.
